    Problem changing DNS settings 16.04 LTS - a virtual bridge seems to be in the middle?

    I'm not even sure where to begin here. I want my primary DNS server to be 1.0.0.1 and the secondary to be 156.154.71.22.

    For some reason, enp6s0 is not showing up and I'm on virbr0:

    Code:
    $ ifconfig
    enp6s0    Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr 90:2b:34:5a:bc:0d

    Re: Problem changing DNS settings 16.04 LTS - a virtual bridge seems to be in the mid

    I should mention that I do no have any wireless devices on this machine but that I was using a USB 802.11 b/g/n adapter (could never get it working with linux) and that ndiswrapper is on this machine.

    I should also mention that I have Oracle VM Virtual Boxes and have used rdp/remmina to access them remotely (i.e. from another computer w/in the network). The VMs are Windows 10 and Peppermint 9.

    The ISP-supplied primary DNS is 75.75.75.75 (Comcast) and that is not pushing to (at least) this machine.

    Question 1: Why am I on a bridge?

    Question 2: Do I need to be on this bridge?

    Question 3: if yes to 2, how do I modify the DNS setting?
