just switched to ubuntu entirely, but on my desktop the fonts are sooooo smalll. how do I make them bigger? ( will be putting this on my laptop as well) thank you in advance.
If you're using Gnome 3 (this is the default for 18.04), install gnome-tweak-tool and change the "Scaling factor" setting in the "Fonts" tab to something higher than 1.
