GRUB in text mode after installation

After unsuccessfully try to install Ubuntu alongside Windows in my computer, I gave up. So I got an Intel NUC and tried to install Ubuntu as the only operative system. But when I was about to start it, GRUB only shows a command line and no sign of Ubuntu. What do I do?

Alright, I don't know how, but after a new installation, it's working fine.

There are several other people with a similar issue. Did you format your drive before reinstalling, or let the installer do it for you? Did you also do the minimal install, download updates, or install third party software?
