Mouse Behaving Weird in Games Played on Windows VM.

    Hello All!

I finished building a monster 8 core computer with the intent to game on it. Well, to get around some of the games that are not yet available on Linux, I built a VM to play on. It definitely works, the resources my build have a available makes sure of that but I've got some issues.

Some of the games work fantastically. High framerate, decent graphics quality, but the mouse acts quite strange. It kind of behaves as though there the mouse is at a crazy high sensitivity. I believe the game is some how confusing the mouse input for a joystick input, if that make any sense.

I'm somewhat Linux competent but not quite sure where to start looking. Any ideas? The virtual machine firmware (or whatever you would like to call it) perhaps?

    Thank you,
    - Matt

In the Ubuntu mouse properties dialog, set mouse acceleration to "slowest." that should solve your problem.

You might want to try PlayOnLinux instead of using a VM.
    Code:
    sudo apt install playonlinux
    .
It will likely run the games you want to play. It can't hurt to try.

I drink my Ubuntu black, no sugar.
