Laptop has to be force-shutdown after suspend

18.04 user here. When I put my laptop in suspend mode, albeit by command line, power menu, or lid close, the system doesn't wake up. The screen stayed off and the power light goes off. Pushing the power button doesn't turn the PC on, however. I have to hold the power button like I'm forcing a shutdown until the power light flashes on then off. After all of that I can boot my PC as normal.

I have tried adding nonodeset to my grub configuration as suggested by other threads but I'm pretty sure those were for Nvidia gpus.

    I have a Dell Inspiron 3147
    Intel Pentium processor
    4 gb or RAM
Intel integrated graphics(?) (It's what I use on Windows due to lack of graphics card)
Dual boot system with win 10 (but should cause a problem since Manjaro worked fine with 10

If u need any other info I would be more ethag happy to share

    Thx in advance!

Edit* I use XFCE and I3, so memory/swap space shouldnt be an issue. And I've tried suspending with nothing running.
