    bodhin2; Het ---- hey ...

^depends Me I am CLI minded, and most of what I do is from the terminal.
Removing files depends too on where they are located and who has access rights.

So we do need to know what files you are working with and the location ?

Go to the post where you attached the image or file.
    Click on Edit Post
Go down and select the Go Advanced options.
Click on the paperclip to open the Manage Attachments.
In the attachment box where the image/file you add is in the bottom area, hover your mouse over the attachment you want to remove and an X will appear in the top right corner.
Clicking on that X will delete the attachment.

Alternatively you should be able to go into your Settings > Up in the top pane of the forums where the welcome and logout options are.
Then go down to Miscellaneous > Attachments and open that.
Then you should be able to select the attachment you want to remove and go down to the end and click Delete selected.

Either of those methods work for you?

Ok the 2nd option worked very nicely. did not even notice that in this settings area.

i originally went into the post and via manage attachment did not see anyway possible. i knew there must have been some way. thanks again.
