First Cup of Ubuntu
Is it possible to install Ubuntu 16 or 18 onto LENOVO Ideapad 320-17IKB 17.3" Laptop.
It has both HDD and SSD with Windows 10 pre-installed but I do not know which is the
prime drive and will have the Windows 10 on it.
I would appreciate some advice and help.

Ubuntu addict and loving it
Windows 10 pre-installed is almost certainly a UEFI install. The page at the link below is the official Ubuntu documentation on dual booting with windows UEFI. Read that and post back with questions. You will need to have a basic understanding of Linux drive/partition naming conventions and some knowledge of filesystems to identify which drive/partitions have windows.
