    Zbox MI561 nano performance issues

    Hi

I used to run Ubuntu Studio 16.04 on a Zoltac Zbox MI551 and never had any issues. Recently I switched to the MI561 nano (specs below) and constantly have performance issues although it has a faster CPU and I doubled the RAM (from 16 to 32 Gb). One difference is that I now installed Ubuntu Studio in UEFI mode - I already upgraded to 18.04 but the issues are still there (mouse cursor freezes during downloads, programs run painfully slow). Has anybody encountered a similar problem or could tell me how to find the possible cause (can't run memtest+86 in UEFI and checkbox is not working). Another thing is that the core temperature is pretty high (87 degrees Celsius).

    best regards
    Claus
