Problem with The Sims 2 and Lutris

When I click on the banner for the game it says at the bottom of the screen I'm playing it but a new window for the game doesn't come up. I am using Ubuntu Studio 18.04

What are you using to run the Sims? PlayOnLinux, in the repos, has specific scripts for each program installed. Install it with

sudo apt install playonlinux

You'll be glad you did. If you are using PoL, post on their forum.
