    Dell XPS 15 9550 touchscreen stopped working / option gone from BIOS

    Hi all,

    Initially I posted this question on Dell forum but as I am using Ubuntu that I installed myself I was redirected here.

    I haven't had any problems with any of my linux installations on my Dell XPS 15 9550, but two days ago my touch screen suddenly stopped working. I noticed that the checkbox that used to be in BIOS is also gone.
    Any suggestions what happened?
