Delete useless post

Would a moderator delete in Mount HDD after Grub failed the post which content is "Windows now works. I should make a real reply within 12-24 hrs w/ BIOS screenshots. It's not necessary (read: please don't do it) to reply unless I don't make a follow-up."; now that the follow-up has been made, it's utility is over?
