Ubuntu Mate 18 NEW Brisk Menu on Mate 16.04?

Hi.

I'm wondering if it's possible to install the new full-screen brisk menu (see below) on Ubuntu Mate 16.04. I'm not willing to upgrade to 18.04 just yet (still seeing too many people with too many problems) but would quite like to add this new menu to my current OS.

According to Installing brisk menu in 16.04 mate the answer is no and Ubuntu MATE's lead developer has confirmed this.
