System settings/printers/add printer does not work for getting the drivers for the Epson ET-2500 printer. Instructions and driver download are at:

The lsb package must be installed before installing the deb file with the printer driver.

I had difficulty finding the download URL given above by a search of epson et-2500 and ubuntu. I got to the correct page by starting at epson.com.
