    Xubuntu on Toshiba Satellite L850D

I installed Xubuntu on this old laptop. I have 8 gb ram with AMD A8 processor. However, I notice that there is considerable heat in the laptop and the fan is continuously on even though there is minimal use of the CPU (15-20%) and memory (10-15%). Even in ubuntu software updates, I did not get notified to install any drivers. Can someone let me know to correct this issue.

Your laptop's cooler is probably clogged with dust. You must find a tutorial on how to remove the
computer's keyboard and then blow compressed air from the exhaust fins into the computer.
The dust will escape out of the fan hole that is under the keyboard. Do it in a well ventilated area
or put a vacuum on the fan hole.
    Overheating may damage your computer.
