    Video distortion in OpenShot

Most videos I import have a flickering line of corruption along the right hand side. It's a sliver a couple of pixels wide that runs the vertical height of the video. I've noticed it appears in the test render too so it's not just a preview window issue.

    Any ideas please?

Have you tried another video program like VLC to see if it happens there, too?

OpenShot is a video editor, not a media player.

The video looks fine when tested in a standard player if that's what you meant. It's something the editor is doing to it that's the problem.

For video editing I would usually suggest Kdenlive, it's the only one I have found comes close to being usable. Do you particularly want to use OpenShot?
