Suspend computer-screen sleep when streaming.

Hi
I am installing Mate 18.04 on a desktop.
I have a bit of an issue which occurs when the computer is running but I am not actively using it, e.g. if I am streaming radio, the computer will be suspended after whatever duration is set in Power management.
This is a bit annoying but is especially an issue when I leave the computer to download/upload large files.
I currently have to go to the power management and set the "Put computer to sleep when inactive for" option to Never and remember to reset it when I go back to normal use.

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically suspend/override the existing Power Management settings when something (like VLC) is running.

click on the panel-> add to panel-> inhibit applet

Thanks to your conversation I went into Power Saver and tweeked my settings. I hope that is enough.

I am that new that I didn't even know what the setting was named.
