hey awesome developers,
first of all sorry if i am posting it in wrong sub-forums, it will take a while for me to learn ubuntu and forums to.

i am new to ubuntu, and i am running 14.04 LTS.
i download oracle virtual machine from https://www.virtualbox.org
and then genymotion from https://www.genymotion.com
i download a virtual device of custom mobile API 19.
when i click start, nothing happens
so i opened oracle machine box which looks like this (first image)

and when i click start, it was looking like this (second image)


and not doing anything else.
android is not starting, please help.

I am not familiar with genymotion. However, What did you download from genymotion, iso/vid/vmdx? What file type?
What are the settings for your virtual machine?
May be you are better off asking this question to genymotion.

i uninstalled it as soon as i came to know from other discussions that i can simply download iso files and install virtual os in virtual hard disk.
this error might be because my PC hardware is 9 Year old.

Really need to see how you set this up. I'm also unfamiliar with that program but not unfamiliar with VirtualBox.

What are at least the following settings?

General -> Basic tab -> Type:_____________
General -> Basic tab -> Version:____________
System -> Motherboard tab -> Base Memory:_________
System -> Processor tab -> Processors:_________
System -> Processor tab -> Extended Features: ___ Enable PAE/NX
Storage -> HD?
Storage -> CDROM?
Network -> Adapter 1 -> Attached to:__________
Network -> Adapter 1 -> Advanced -> Adapter Type:__________
