Does ubuntu 18.04 support GeForce GTX 1050?

Hi all

I am planning to buy Dell XPS 15 9560 and want to ask if ubuntu 18.04 supports nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 or not?

And of course, if it is support others hardware also, that are listed on the description.

I want to change from mac to ubuntu, I need to know which notebook should I buy.

It will support that card. Once installed, go to Additional Drivers and it will find the most current one and give you the option to install it.

It supports the card because I have ran it with that card. It will not detect the proper drivers after install though so you will probably end up with 640x480 resolution at first boot. Do as autodave stated and then you should be fine.
