I need to create an ISO image of a Ubuntu 16.04 server that is currently in service. This server does not run an X server or any GUI. I researched tools and found that respin seemed to be the best way to create an ISO of my configuration, which can later be used to make move (probably virtual) servers with the same configuration.

It appears as though respin creates a proper ISO, and everything looks fine, until I try to boot from it. No matter what I do, I get this error on boot:

I have tried creating the ISO multiple times, verified MD5, and can't seem to figure this out. I am trying to launch it on a VM that has the same amount of RAM, CPU, and disk space as the one that I copied. I get this same result whether I try to launch as a Live CD, or to Install.

I appreciate any help!
