Where can I download Lubuntu 12.04?

I need a non-PAE version of Lubuntu (to run on a Fit-PC Slim w/ an AMD GX3 LX800 CPU). I believe 12.04 is the latest version that is non-PAE, but the link on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Lu...eleases#A12.04 doesn't work. Does anyone know where the archived versions of the distro have gone?

The first mirror link on the page that you quoted does work and leads here.

But yes, many of the images for flavour releases long out of support and hosted on Ubuntu servers have gone.

• DRAM: 256 MB DDR DRAM

your going to have to go old school for such low specs.

Hmmm... not sure why the link didn't work for me when I tried it. Anyway, I have since discovered that 12.04 is PAE so I'm having to try 10.04 (which I believe is non-PAE).

Yes, it is a low-spec machine (but then it's only the size of two 2.5" laptop hard drives stacked one on top of the other!).

BTW it has 521MB RAM (not 256MB), but then that is also shared with the GPU.

I remember (but could be mistaken) that although Ubuntu 12.04 came with a PAE kernel, Lubuntu and Xubuntu 12.04 still came with a non-PAE kernel.

All of them are long past end of life. For an off-line computer it could still be fun, but maybe you can consider going outside the Ubuntu family. There are Linux distros around for very old hardware.
