Laptop overheats after it recovers from sleep mode

    Hello,

I am new to both Ubuntu and Linux.

My laptop starts overheating when it recovers from sleep mode (after being in a idle state). When I write "top" in the terminal, there is a process called "kworker" that eats about 78-80% of the CPU and it is overheating the laptop(temperature rises to 70 degrees C and even more, with Chromium being the only software opened). I noticed that this happens only after the laptop recovers from sleep mode. When I restart the system, the temperature is back to normal.

What should I do to solve this problem?
