Bluetooth & PDFtk Issues in 18.04 LTS

I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04 LTS release on April 26, 2018 and found that it is incompatible to my Bluetooth dongle ( it was perfectly working fine in Ubuntu 17.10) and though the dongle is recognised but fails to turn on the Bluetooth in settings and hence does not connect to my Bluetooth speaker. Also I found that there is no way I can use PDFtk to do my tasks with PDF files. It is imperative that most of us make use of PDFtk to do our day to day operations with PDF files. Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

You can install the 16.10 version of PDFtk manually after tracking down a couple of dependencies. See the discussion here: https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2390293
