Hi, I am a newbie and want to know how can I install Ubuntu on my Dell Inspiron 15 7560. Can anyone help me with this process? Should I contact Dell Support Number for a confirmation that my laptop supports ubuntu or not?

Image to flash drive, boot image, follow instructions. Linux is no longer the great mystery to install. I'd daresay it's easier to install than Windows. Your laptop most likely supports it just fine. To test just boot a live image and try it out before installation.
If Windows 10 pre-installed then it is UEFI and you need to install Ubuntu in UEFI boot mode.
How you boot install media is then how it installs, so boot flash drive in UEFI mode.

Note that back up of Windows is the most important step.
