Hi everyone, I remotely connect to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS using Teamviewer from my Mac (2014, OSX 10.11.6). However, the teamviewer screen on my Mac doesn't show any changes for any action I am making, such as moving windows, closing windows, typing..... However the action does happen on the other computer that I'm controlling. I tried both Teamviewer version 13 (newest) and 12. I would appreciate if any one shares any tips on this.
Moved to Mac OSX. If the actions appear to be working on the Ubuntu machine, then it would seem that the issue is in the realm of the OS operating on the Mac.

Well, I need to do analysis on the linux, but I can't be there all the time. That's why the teamviewer comes to play. Teamviewer seems to work fine when I connect Mac OSX and windows although.
Understood. However, Teamviewer seems to be working on the remote end on Ubuntu. Your difficulty lies with the behavior of Teamviewer on OSX.
You were right. I went to teamviewer on my mac OSX, change the system preferences to "improve compatibility" and it worked. Thank you!
