Ubuntu is a Linux-based OS, which is based on Unix. So, almost all Unix security capabilities are available to Ubuntu.

Impossible to name them all. Unix security is a huge topic with thousands of tools, millions of techniques, and unlimited flexibility for a smart admin. Thousands of books have been written on the subject.

There is not option "Security = Yes", if that is what you seek. Security is many different shades of gray. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish, there are easy things to do to help deal with different attack vectors.

For first and most important security feature is backups. But there isn't a "backup system" button, because there are 500 different ways to accomplish it, each with different pros/cons. Only you can decide how to properly backup a system with the most important considerations for your requirements. That's a pretty standard thing in Unix. The answer is almost always "it depends on what you need." It also depends on what you know, the environment, the ability to layer security features in the network, physical separation, logical separation, and standard practices within your operations team.

Sorry, I didn't provide a list of 200 things off the top of my head.
