First Cup of Ubuntu
I'm trying to run Maple 8 in Ubuntu 10.10. Finally got it to install, now I'm getting this when I try to run it:
/home/tbass/maple8/bin.IBM_INTEL_LINUX/mserver: relocation error: /home/tbass/maple8/bin.IBM_INTEL_LINUX/libmaple.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

Since Ubuntu 10.10 is long past its End of Life and is no longer supported, your first step would be to install a currently supported version of Ubuntu.

centerpointcaugiay, you can download the currently supported releases of Ubuntu from https://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop
See also https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases which will tell always you which releases of Ubuntu are currently supported. If it's not supported then it shouldn't be used.
