    Question Crashing with large files

    When opening large files or when transferring files from one folder to another, every open session suddenly and randomly disappears along with my desktop icons leaving only the wallpaper so I have to reopen everything. This problem only started recently. My files are stored on a 1TB external HDD.

    Check the system log files for issues.
