Does anyone who ever worked with DOS remember the name of the old Lotus 1-2-3 2.01 .EXE file name? The workfiles had an extension of *.WK1. I have an old DOS backup CD and among all the *.EXE files I can't identify it.

I have done so. Could you please elaborate a bit more on what you need?

I'm looking for the file to execute which will launch the Lotus 1-2-3 application, I've looked through the *.EXE and *.COM files and can't find it. I was looking for something like LOTUS.EXE, or 123.EXE or similar. In short, what is the name of the executable file that launches Lotus?
It's been far too many years to remember that - 20+ years. Sorry.

It's been a while for me, too. I have a vague notion that some software from that era, possibly including some versions of 123, came with some form of copy protection that required the presence of the installation disk in the disk drive, but I never had the need to have a copy in my collection.
Good luck.

For some unknown reason I still have some .wk1 files on my system from 20+ years ago.
And I just clicked on one and it opened with LibreOffice.
With .wk1 files also is the .all file which if I remember correctly was the formatting. Not sure if that was used or not.

123
Yes, 123.exe is the file name, but it requires file 123.cmp, which I don't have. I found this site, but don't think I'll pursue this exercise any longer. Thanks all, for your help.
