This is such great news. I first started playing NWN in '02, and, six years later, installed it on my new 8.04 system, and have been playing it ever since with the very good Linux client. With the job that Beamdog has done with the Infinity engine (Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale, Planescape:Torment), I'm on tenterhooks waiting for their work on the Aurora engine (NWN). I have always maintained that NWN is the most game you can get in a box, with hundreds of free, high-quality adventures here:https://neverwintervault.org/.

I spent waaaaaay too much time playing this game many aeons ago. I was single then. If I do not want to become single again, it would be best if I left NWN in the past. LOL.
Whenever I get the old-school RPG itch, I play Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. (the graphical tiles version).
Although, I must admit, it's tempting to install NWN.......

Oh, there are literally hundreds of new modules from the last few years at neverwintervault.com. The game is being revamped greatly, and you'll be able to copy all your existing modules, .hak files, etc, and, if you have the Premium modules, they're, of course, compatible. You won't need to buy the Digital Deluxe edition if you already have the Premium modules. Beamdog, the excellent porters of Baldurs Gate I and II, Icewind Dale, and, most importantly, Planescape:Torment, THE best CRPG ever created. You can get the straight skinny from beamdog.com,
As I said earlier, I can hardly wait.
