On Ubuntu 16.04.3 with Chrome Version 64.0.3282.119 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Started seeing both Facebook & Imgur displaying errors upon attempting to upload photos. Facebook wall posts as well as inline images in Messenger.

At first I thought it was a kernel issue, as I had just upgraded to something higher than it was yesterday. But right now I'm booted into the previous version & the issue persists.
Then I discovered Firefox is not affected. Don't really want to have to migrate to Firefox- I've been comfortable in Chrome right now, at least until this started tonight.
I've tried deleting all local/cached website content from the beginning of time, also disabling all my extensions, restarting Chrome after each attempt- and still these 2 websites return the same errors.
Also tried disabling antivirus, & it didn't help.
Ideas?

Now when I try again hours later it's working fine. Wierd.
