    Search function buggy?

Yesterday I made a post which was later moved into a sticky thread. All fine and dandy.

Now when I search for new posts in the threads in which I have posted (click advanced search in the top right corner, enter my own name in user name, click search now) I see a list of threads but not the sticky thread mentioned above.

Does anybody know why this happens?

Do you see it if you go to "Quick Links" top left and click on "Find all my posts"?

But to answer your query, I have no idea why that happens.

I always use the method I mention above, not a search by username, unless I'm looking for other users posts, which I have just done with your name and that post is also missing from the list if I search that way.

Yes, find all my posts does as the name implies, but I want to track the activity in all threads in which I have posted earlier. There could be a question to which I should respond.

Honestly, I find the built-in search functionality well nigh useless. I subscribe to get updates on particular threads.

Ok, I guess people just have to live with it.
    Thanks for answers.

    Re: Search function buggy?

Now I posted in the tread which made it appear in the searches.

I don't know what it changed but anyway... it works now.
