    Laptop Mode Tools

    Im sitting on laptop, do i need Laptop Mode Tools ? Is it recommended ? Or ? Can anyone tell me more specific what that is? Im new to ubuntu

    Laptop Mode Tools is a package that allows you to extend the battery life of your laptop by enabling the Laptop Mode Linux kernel feature along with other power-related tweaks.

    I personally found no benefit of using laptop mode tools. My preferred choice is Tlp.
