    Unhappy back up problem

    Back up problem?
?? This may be a drive naming problem ?? Either way it needs to be fixed ??
When I attempt to "Back up your important files" I run into a naming problem.
The back up application will not accept the name of the device, too long-
    "Seagate Backup Plus Drive"
Using gparted I attemped to rename the device to something shorter.
It renamed the "Name" but would NOT allow anything to be changed on the
    "Mount Point" nor the "Label".
    ---
"disks" will not allow me to change the "Mount Point" nor the "Label".
    ---
How do it change the "Mount Point" or the "Label" on the device?
    ---
"luckybackup" after creating the "rsync" command will not copy the command to the clip board, or maybe it did but the clipboard didn't take it.

    "bu.1" - "/home/john" - "/media/john/Seagate Backup Plus Drive/Back.Up/John/linux.box"
Copy to clipboard results in nothing!?!?!?
    ---
The BackUp still will not accept the device!
    Help!

    Re: back up problem

Not many eyes on this thread as it's posted to a System76 subforum. Even if the PC is a System76, this kind of issue not System76 related, so I would suggest to post to "general" forum or have a mod do.
Problem installing Ubuntu? . . Just get it "Preinstalled" (like you did for Windows!) . . http://linuxpreloaded.com/
