    POS Software for Amateur Mechanic

Hello fellow Ubuntuers! I think General help is the best place for this.
I'm looking for a good POS system to handle my small side business of fixing small engine equipment. I'm probably going to be trying out opensourcepos, was hoping someone here had experience with any of the options out there. I would like it to be web based running on my minecraft/seed box that is on 24/7 so I can access it on all of my devices easily. It needs basic things I'm sure most have such as a database for customers, inventory and invoices. I guess it would be nice to punch into jobs to factor in labor automatically but I don't really need that as I just do this in my free time really.

Re: POS Software for Amateur Mechanic

I had worked on setting up a POS for an acquaintance who sold video games at the flea market. I ended up using Open Source POS. The website for the project is pretty lackluster, but the software worked rather well for what he needed. I'm sure with enough poking around you could get it tailored to your work.
