unity7 remix set to become official flavor?

Things have been moving really fast on the unity7 offical flavor front. The best I can do for now is cross post a thread from the community hub.

Hi Dale, all,
The goal of becoming an official flavour is the correct route to go down in my opinion. That will get you a whole host of extra goodness for free, above and beyond somewhere to host your ISOs. For example, inclusion in the ISO tracker QA platform:
http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/reports/subscriptions3
I know that @3v1n0 and @Wimpress have offered their guidance in becoming an official flavour, and I add my name to that list too.
A formal ack from legal should be forthcoming and then we can kick off the next stage in the process. It should all be fairly painless.

I had to use try Ubuntu to install the Iso.
ubuntu-unity-ppa-amd64.iso 23-Nov-2017 14:28 1.3G
Not a big deal but worth a mention.

It is not official flavor as of yet. I am still waiting to hear from Technical Board. Ahh .. it's good to be home

I am very glad about all this happening. Went on testing Unity-only (and reporting that) to the dismay of some. Got you to create the isos, and Khurshid to create the meta and the ppa. Lot of good guys had joined the Team. And, doing lot of work.
