    GTK+ 3.20 has changed CSS in many ways. In order to increase scrollbar width on Firefox Quantum with Ubuntu 17.04, this worked for me:

    Edit/Create ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css and add:

    .scrollbar.vertical slider,
    scrollbar.vertical slider {
    min-width: 15px;
    }
    @Hugo_Dias - Thank you. That works on Ubuntu 17.10. I'll mark this thread solved.

    I can confirm that this worked for me on 17.10 w/ Firefox version 57.0 (64-bit).

    The file (gtk.css) did not exist for me, so I had to create it in the folder mentioned below. Also worth noting that 17.10 has a 'gtk-4.0' folder (for me at least) as well - but the solution the the FF issue was doing exactly what this poster suggested.

    This is to confirm that ~/.config/gtk-3.0/gtk.css workaround also works for Firefox 59.0.2 in Lubuntu 17.10 Artful Aardvark.

    Perfect! That solves this in 18.04 too. Shame they didn't fix it properly and we have to do these manual fixes

    17.10 is no longer supported, so closed.
