Thanks, I should have searched better.
I'm not sure how widespread this bug currently is but if not fixed I'd think think fairly significant amount of users (affects all 3 of my laptops, ivybridge, haswell, skylake). Still seeing with current image in daily-live/pending/, i.e. 09-25

If so there should be some mention in the notes.

Certainly not for me to tell gramps about sucking eggs.
But it is a wiki, anyone with the access can edit and see if it gets accepted .
irc channel is fairly active : #ubuntu+1 on freenode . These guys would know a lot more about it .

Also - that would be the Mate release note for their B2 ...

Just because people are in that channel talking about release notes does not mean they're talking about the Ubuntu one. That channel has release team people from all the official flavours as well.
