libgtk1.2 not installing

I want to play some PS1 games on the emulator PCSX. Following a tutorial, I know that I need a plugin for it. When I try to run the plugin's config file, it says "error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory." So I did "sudo apt-get install libgtk1.2," and it says that it cant find the package. I'm running ubuntu 14.04. Any help? Thank you.
