Virtual box update

I am running Linux cnc, with Virtual box powering another Os inside.

There is an update for virtual box and it downloads through the terminal. This is a new one for me, would like to know how to handle this package and install it.

My biggest problem with all distro's is that I seldomly use commands and forget them. I need to start a quick reference library for myself one of these days.
Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

What version do you have installed currently and what version does it want to install?

It is updating from 5.1 to 5.1.26 .....

once it downloads into terminal, I can not even make another key command in the terminal. This is all easy stuff I'm sure, I'm old but still like to learn things.
