    Ok the /mnt/storage is empty though I think that might be as it is mounted through the file manager as you mentioned. I'm going to reboot and see if it is in the mnt folder. Thanks

    Ok great!!!

    So I now have bookmarks in the left panel in nautilus with file paths such 'mnt/storage/home/joe/Documents' etc. https://ibb.co/mP8kxa
    Thank you so much!

    I guess I could now make Documents. Downloads etc. folders in the home folder although I'm happy with the way it is at moment.
    I'm going to make sure that a few things are working as they were before and when I've done that i'll mark it as solved!

    Looks good. I'm glad all the details are cleared up. What you show is exactly the way I do it on my own system.
