SSL error when trying to drag-and-drop Firefox link

On my friend's laptop, through his session, when I try to drag a link to the desktop (via highlighting the URL in the input box and dragging that to the desktop), I get a strange error:
    Code:
    Error while copying.
There was an error getting information about "HTML_name"
    HTTP Error: SSL handshake failed
However, I am able to log into my account on the same computer and drag a link to the desktop without errors. Also, under my friend's session, even if I disable the add-ons and try it, it won't work.
