CUPS leaves print job in PROCESSING

In my case my printer is directly connected to the computer via a parallel port. ie: parallel:/dev/lp0 . some times it works but many times it just leaves jobs in processing stage. I have looked through other posts but none help my situation. Can I restart the cups processor? note that it would be nice when someone replies if an email was sent to me telling me my question has been responded to.

You set up the email notifications yourself in your personal settings, but that is not a question for here. Try Forum Feedback and Help if you can't figure it out.

As for your support issue, printer make and model thanks and the driver you have installed for it, if any. You have given next to no information to help us help you.
