    States, with their vast resources, can do many things -- including hacking Linux. However, it is extraordinarily unlikely that they are going to be concerned about hacking your collection of downloaded cat images.

    You would be much better served concerning yourself with what criminals and thieves are doing.

    The answer is: Those specific things? Who knows. Can States in general do such things? Yes.

    I'm asking with respect to the most recent published information. Other platforms have announced patches. I was just curious if there are patches planned for the Linux Kernel.
