Hi all,
I got cable internet connection that fails to work normally in the evening when all neighbours come home from work and start watching youtube..... (maybe they took too many clients and did not increase total bandwidth yet).
Also I got cdma usb modem which works slower in general, but comparatively faster than my cable internet in the evening.
I got the simplest dlink router for cable internet to share among computers at home. But cdma usb modem can be plugged only into one computer which is my personal PC (or into my notebook too). The problem is that when I turn on cdma internet, it remains unavailable to use until I turn off cable connection on my PC. So the network connection between my other computers at home should be broken. It means that all ssh tunnels should be re-created again, which is a pain...
Can someone please advise how do I manage two mentioned internet providers connections so that manual turning on and off is not needed anymore? I can think about changing my cdma usb modem to something else to continue using this provider (they seems to offer cdma-to-ethernet devices too). But still, what is the most convenient approach to switch between two providers automatically?
Please advise.
Thanks ahead.
