Is there a way to get HBO Now working in Chrome?

I know Chrome has its own version of flash installed along with the browser, but apparently it doesn't support the DRM of HBO Now or something like that. I know it's well-documented how to get this stuff working in Firefox, but given the choice, I'd like to have it working in Chrome. Is this possible?

I'm also interested to know whether this is doable. In the past I was able to use pipelight with firefox to get HBO working. Now that pipelight has been discontinued I'll need to find another workaround.

    Hi,
As of today this is still not working for me, even with all the latest updates.
What is REALLY irritating is that HBO does work on Chrome in ChromeOS which is linux based (I own a Chromebit).
Its a real hassle switching backward and forward between devices just to watch an HBO episode.

So in other words Google must know the solution to this issue but they are not implementing it for all users, just their own OS..
