    I'm not aware of it as I'm running a Desktop. But I don't think it's more than running a movie clip nonstop. In this case the clip is 16 mb in size.

    You seem to be getting some very good results there. Nice work, .
    What package or method do you use to set up your live background?

    I use an mpv command here to do this which only increases cpu usage about 2 to 4 % here; quite a light loading really. I'm quite interested in checking or comparing other methods/packages/commands for this as well.

    I'm using on KDE a wallpaper plugin called: Smart Video wallpaper.
    On elementary OS I'm using Komorebi.

    It takes very little cpu, but can be a little heavy on the RAM in my experience. But it doesn't bother me, I got 32GB and I need to use them for something
