MX 18.2 Continuum also based on Stable Debian.
MX Linux is a cooperative venture between the antiX and former MEPIS communities and comes with Xfce as the default DE.
It has a working Fusion Icon, need I say more?

Fresh copy of Fedora 30 Xfce - Fusion Icon, Compiz, fish tank, Emerald everything I need. The conky version 1.11.3 displays Nvidia info, 29 did not.

    Cheers, yeti.

Using gedit, nemo, plank and tint2 in Xubuntu 18.04.
Changed yaru-grey icons to inherit gartoon redux icon theme as it's the theme I've use for years
    to easily recognize applications.
The yaru-grey folder icons blend better with my dark theme though.

Thought I would post a screenie since I just installed Ubuntu after a long time spent in Debian land. Nothing wrong with Debian, just wanted to try something different.

I'm sure you are aware of compiz reloaded on Debian then. It has all of the old good stuff - compiz, experimental compiz plugins, Emerald and the Fusion Icon. I was pretty amazed. I have both Stretch and Buster on my system.

I have 7 Linux systems total along with Windows 10 at this time.

Re-installed openSUSE last night and have everything except Conkywx on it so far. Just getting read to install that.

Sorry, when I hit show new posts, it just took me to the last one.

Yes it is Debian, it's the development codename for Debian 10. I think Debian Buster will become Debian 10, not sure. But, it's the testing version, not the unstable one.

Currently Arch Linux, openSUSE TW, Fedora 30, MX Linux 18.2 all have working Compiz including experimental plugins (fish tank, snow bowl, etc,), Emerald and the Fusion Icon. Debian has compiz reloaded which has all of the above, which is pretty sweet.

I hope that Ubuntu can use compiz reloaded since Debian can. I have not checked that out yet.

    Cheers
