NoScript users may find this interesting: NoScript’s Migration to WebExtensions APIs.

Thanks vasa1 for the NoScript news! I'm starting to see a lot of activity. If you thought your favorite extension wouldn't make the transition, you might want to check again.

EFF says HTTPS Everywhere has already been migrated to WebExtensions and should work in time. The core functionality works now.

The conversion process is being tracked here - https://github.com/EFForg/https-everywhere/issues/9958

    Re: Web Extensions & Firefox

One of my favorite extensions is FirePHP. It works with Firebug, and Firebug is no more. So, in order to still use FirePHP, I run a second version of Firefox when I need it. I use version 48. I also backed up all the extensions so if they disappear from online I still have them. This is a little different than the topic of this forum thread, but still could be the solution for many people. If I could figure it out, I guess anyone can.

With Firefox 55, the Addons page makes things a bit obvious:

I'm sure that will be a pretty common feeling when the time comes.

I've just installed version 57. Instead of Stylish which isn't yet ready, I'm now using Stylus: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/styl-us/

I'm sorry, I have no idea. You may look at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/fir.../?sort=popular

I'll be using just two extensions with Fx57: ublock origin and Stylus and possibly Greasemonkey if the developer(s) manage to get it working as per their expectations.
