    xmms 2017

if anyone still interested in xmms in 2017 on 16.04 and i guess 16.10

On this page 32 and 64 debs

    http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/karmic/

    you may need x-dev

    Find libgtk1.2 >>

    http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/k...ild1_amd64.deb
    http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/k...build2_all.deb
    http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/k...ild2_amd64.deb

Install all 3 with dpkg -i

    Then get >>

    http://ftp.kspu.ru/ubuntu/pool/unive...12-4_amd64.deb

    Then xmms >>

    http://www.pvv.ntnu.no/~knuta/xmms/k...11-1_amd64.deb

Then read info here from earlier threads for plugins also here many plugins easily installed as debs

    Still looks good
