I'm having trouble connecting to MariaDB server running on my Ubuntu VM guest. My host OS is Ubuntu Xenial as well, trying to connect remotely using HeidiSQL I get error "Lost connection to MySQL server at 'reading initial communication packet' system error 10045". The MySQL port is forwarded 3306, 3330, and I've already configured the guest OS' firewall to allow MySQL through both directions. Please tell me what might be going wrong!
